About the role
As Head of Data & Analytics, reporting directly to the Digital Director you will lead and deliver the organisation’s data strategy, overseeing our Microsoft Fabric platform and ensuring the provision of high-quality, actionable insight to support clinical, operational, and executive decision-making. This is a strategic leadership role with a hands-on remit, requiring you to work directly with data, national NHS datasets, and analytics outputs while developing a high-performing team. You will advance our population health analytics capability, strengthen data governance and reporting, and support research and service evaluation, working collaboratively with stakeholders, commissioners, and NHS partners.

Qualifications
Essential
We are seeking an experienced and strategic data and analytics leader with a strong track record of developing high-performing teams and delivering impactful data strategies. You will bring significant experience in managing enterprise data platforms (such as Azure or Microsoft Fabric) and delivering high-quality analytics and insight through tools like Power BI. With a strong grasp of data governance, GDPR and information security, you will be confident translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. You will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, alongside excellent influencing skills.
Desirable
Experience within healthcare, NHS datasets, population health or commissioning environments would be advantageous, as would exposure to advanced analytics, AI, or research and evaluation.
