Electronics Test Engineer

Electronics Test Engineer - Colchester - Mid to Senior Level - Up to £50,000

A leading company in the test and measurement sector is looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join their team.

This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with experience in both analog and digital electronics who enjoys leading complex test projects and mentoring others.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth testing on new and legacy electronic products
• Lead complex testing projects, managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Solve technical challenges using initiative and problem-solving skills
• Create C++ applications for automated test systems
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians
• Work closely with colleagues across multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Experience in electronics testing
• Expertise in analog and digital electronics, including circuit design and debugging
• Proficiency in C++ or similar programming for automated test systems
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers
• Strong mentoring and communication skills
