Group Business Systems Data Analyst

A manufacturing client of ours on the outskirts of Colchester are recruiting a Group Business Systems Data Analyst to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm or 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. This role reports directly to the Group Business Systems Manager.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Generate, maintain, and refine business reports using SQL and Excel
• Build and deploy BI dashboards and analytics tools
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and document reporting needs
• Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and issue resolution
• Perform data import/export and automation tasks using SQL and APIs
• Provide first-line support for data and analytics queries
  
  

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Group Business Systems Data Analyst position:

• Strong IT experience with SQL, Excel, and at least one BI reporting tool
• Ability to hit the ground running and deliver dashboards/reports quickly
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to translate data insights for stakeholders
• Experience with Sage, Salesforce, or Qlik (preferred)
• Familiarity with Python/API for data tasks (desirable)
