We’re hiring for our client, a fast-growing global payment processing platform that’s scaling rapidly after a major acquisition. They’re on the lookout for talented .NET Software Engineers to join their journey of building the next generation of API-driven, merchant-first technology.

What you’ll be doing

As a .NET Software Engineer, you’ll design and develop backend services, APIs, and portals that power their payment platforms. You’ll get to work with modern software practices like Behaviour-Driven Development and CI/CD in a highly collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translating merchant and partner needs into high-quality, innovative solutions.
  • Improving development processes through automation, simplification, and best practices.
  • Building quality into every stage of the software lifecycle with a strong focus on testable, observable behaviours.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure timely, technically accurate deliverables.
  • Supporting deployments from requirements analysis all the way to production release.
  • Acting as a role model in the team; professional, collaborative, and adaptable.

What they’re looking for

  • 6 to 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in C# / .NET and solid grounding in Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Experience with server-side product development, SQL, and database design.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with design patterns, refactoring, and OO design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working in both small and large teams, with the ability to adapt to different situations.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to experiment, backtrack, and validate approaches when needed.
