Senior Sales Leader – Data & AI (Databricks)
Hybrid: 2 days per week in London or Manchester
Package: Up to £130,000 base + commission (c. Double OTE) + benefits
This is a standout opportunity for a Databricks‐aligned enterprise seller to own and build a strategic pipeline, influence go‐to‐market direction, and make a visible impact on business growth within a high‐performing, specialist AI & data consultancy.
The Opportunity:
We’re partnering with a fast‐growing AI and Data Consulting firm trusted by enterprise organisations to deliver large‐scale Lakehouse‐led transformation programmes.
The business is looking for a senior sales leader with deep experience selling Databricks‐centric data and AI solutions into complex enterprises. This role is not about transactional licences — it’s about shaping multi‐year transformation journeys, positioning Databricks at the core, and partnering with clients to unlock real business value from their data.
You’ll operate at board and C‐suite level, working closely with consulting and engineering leaders to design and close end‐to‐end Databricks, analytics, and AI programmes.
Sector focus includes Financial Services, Insurance, and Energy, with enterprise‐scale deals at the heart of the role.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Driving net‐new enterprise sales centred on Databricks‐led data and AI transformation
- Owning full enterprise sales cycles, from early value‐led conversations through to contract signature
- Leading C‐level discussions around Lakehouse architecture, advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data modernisation
- Translating complex business challenges into Databricks‐enabled solutions and roadmaps
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of large, multi‐stream transformation opportunities
- Partnering closely with consulting, architecture, and delivery teams to shape compelling Databricks‐centric propositions
- Acting as a senior commercial ambassador across clients, Databricks partners, and industry events
What We’re Looking For:
- 8-10+ years’ experience in enterprise technology or consulting sales
- Proven background selling through services‐led, consulting, or systems integrator models
- Strong experience selling Databricks, modern data platforms, analytics, or AI solutions
- Confidence operating in complex enterprise environments with senior and C‐suite stakeholders
- Experience working with or alongside Databricks partner ecosystems is highly desirable
- A structured, value‐based enterprise sales approach, not volume or transactional selling
- Comfortable navigating technically sophisticated conversations while maintaining commercial ownership
- A self‐starter mindset — motivated by growth, impact, and building something meaningful
