Business Development Manager – Managed Security Services & Modern Workplace Solutions
📍 Glasgow | 🕓 Full-Time | 📈 £45,000 - £60,000 & Double OTE
Our client, a leading Glasgow-based Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK. This is a key commercial role focused on expanding our IT Solutions portfolio, including managed security services, unified comms, cloud, networking & connectivity.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within mid-market and enterprise sectors.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with C-suite, IT, and security leaders, understanding business risk and translating it into tailored security solutions.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, networking, presenting, proposing, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with technical pre-sales, marketing, and product teams to shape compelling propositions.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in B2B technology or cybersecurity sales, ideally from an MSP, VAR or Cyber background
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, managed services or alternative IT solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Ability to travel to client sites and industry events when required.
