Cloud Security Specialist (Pre-Sales) - Global Tech Giant | Remote, UK

£97,000 per annum | Contract to 30 September 2026, potential to extend

Know cloud security inside out - and explain it better than most engineers? This is the rare security role that pays you properly for the talking, not the patching.

No 3am incident calls. No hands-on builds. You'll be the bridge between our client's engineers and the enterprise customers deciding whether to trust their platform.

What's in it for you

• Inside IR35, PAYE - paid weekly, no umbrella company faff
• Fully remote from anywhere in the UK, or hybrid from a London office if you fancy the odd desk day

What you'll need

• A solid security background - cloud security or infrastructure security
• 5+ years in IT and 5+ years in cloud security
• Confidence interpreting security controls, frameworks and customer security questionnaires
• Awareness of AI security - the risks raised by GenAI and Agentic AI
• Linux know-how from an investigational angle - comfortable digging into systems and logs
• The knack of turning technical detail into answers customers actually understand

Nice to have

• Pre-sales, sales engineering or security assurance experience with a vendor
• CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent
• Italian language skills - a bonus, not a requirement

A day in the life

• Interpret and answer security questionnaires from major enterprises evaluating our client's platform
• Dig into what's really being asked - across cloud security, AI security and compliance controls
• Work with engineers to nail the detail, then translate it into clear, customer-ready answers
• Grow into joining sales conversations as the security expert, if that's where you want to take it
