Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Aberystwyth
Basic Salary: £33,500
OTE: Circa £43,000 per annum
Shift and schedule: Full-time, working 5 days over 7, including weekends
Priority Recruitment are pleased to present an opportunity for a Store Manager to lead a recently refitted telecoms store in Aberystwyth.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to their team and taking ownership of results. You’ll have the opportunity to set clear standards, develop your colleagues and make a real impact on the store’s performance.

More about the role:
- Taking responsibility for the store’s sales performance, customer experience and day-to-day operation.
- Leading from the shop floor and setting clear expectations for the team.
- Coaching colleagues to improve their confidence, product knowledge and results.
- Managing performance consistently, including having constructive conversations when standards need to improve.
- Monitoring KPIs and putting practical plans in place to improve results.
- Planning staffing effectively and maintaining strong operational standards.
- Overseeing compliance, stock management and store presentation.
- Building an accountable, supportive team culture.
Successful applicant:
- An experienced retail Store Manager, or a strong Assistant Manager with substantial people management experience.
- Previous telecoms experience is preferred, although candidates from other sales-led retail environments will be considered.
- A track record of coaching teams, addressing underperformance and improving results.
- Confident making decisions and running a store with a high level of independence.
- Commercially aware, organised and comfortable balancing sales with operational standards.
- An approachable leader who can build trust while holding people accountable.
- Passionate about customer service, technology and developing a successful team.
