Product Manager

Product Manager | Build Trusted AI Products | Shape the Future of PropTech AI

  • Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 base + equity (roughly matching base salary)
  • Location: London, hybrid, four days a week in the office (Wednesdays WFH)
  • Must already have the right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available

Our client is an early-stage AI startup in London building software that takes day-to-day operational admin off busy teams' plates in a traditional, operations-heavy industry. It's live with pilot customers, feedback has been strongly positive, and the team is scaling hard toward revenue in 2026, with a Series A likely to follow next year.

Around 20 to 30 people globally, with an engineering team of 14 and a product team of three sitting alongside them. It's a genuinely AI-augmented team: daily standups, priorities planning and a daily critical-error review all run through lightweight agentic workflows rather than traditional process, and you'll need to be someone who is comfortable working that way, not just tolerant of it.

This Product Manager role owns how the company actually knows its product is any good. You'll define what good looks like for each feature, build and tune the evaluation suites, test scenarios and graders that measure it, and track performance over time so regressions get caught early rather than found by a customer. Alongside that, you'll run day-to-day product operations: triaging flagged conversations, working with Customer Success to turn feedback into clear priorities, and owning features from problem definition through to delivery.

Non-Negotiables

  • 3-5 years in a product role, with genuine outcome ownership
  • Hands-on technical grounding: roughly a year building software as a developer, or building agentic AI workflows yourself
  • Daily, practical use of AI tools to solve real problems
  • Track record of defining and measuring product quality, not gut feel
  • Methodical, root-cause approach to diagnosing issues
  • Equally comfortable with customers and engineers
  • High ownership and follow-through, honest about what is and isn't working

What You'll Work With

  • Linear
  • Notion
  • Slack
  • An internal admin dashboard for daily critical-error triage
  • Agentic workflows across standups, priorities planning and critical-error review

Nice to Haves

  • AI evaluation, prompt testing, or writing and tuning test scenarios and graders
  • Experience owning a QA function or a product quality bar
  • AI-powered product experience
  • Basic SQL or data querying
  • Related industry experience
  • Experience building processes from scratch in an early-stage environment

Why Join / Projects

This is a broad role on a lean team, and it comes with real weight: your read on quality and your voice in prioritisation shape the roadmap directly, rather than getting filtered through layers of process. You'll work closely with the founders and the product lead as the company scales, and there's genuine room to grow, either deeper into AI evaluation as a specialism or broader into wider product ownership, depending on what plays to your strengths. The pilot data is already strong; this is a chance to own quality at a company where quality is the actual differentiator.
