Our client, a leading professional services provider, is seeking a dedicated R&D Tax Manager to join their dynamic Innovations Reliefs Team.
In this key role, you will collaborate with businesses ranging from start-ups to global multinationals across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, software, and digital technologies.
This is your chance to engage with cutting-edge companies, assisting them in preparing successful Research & Development tax relief claims while broadening your professional expertise in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop tailored methodologies and oversee the preparation of R&D tax relief claims for submission to HMRC.

Conduct interviews with clients' technical and finance teams to guide them on the R&D tax relief process and identify eligible activities and expenditures.

Author clear and compelling technical descriptions of client projects as part of detailed reports.

Identify and contribute to business growth opportunities, pitching to acquire new projects or enhance existing relationships.

Act as the main contact for specific R&D software-related projects.

Leverage computer science or development expertise to mentor junior team members.

Strong background in computer science and software development, ideally with direct experience in IT or software industries.

Solid understanding of the UK's R&D tax incentives and the expertise to prepare and submit claims.

Exceptional writing skills with high attention to detail in technical reporting.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respond effectively to HMRC enquiries.
