Business Development Manager Remote UK (One day a week in the West Midlands) Salary £35,000-£40,000 per annum (Year 1 Basic only) Year 2 Basic + Commission OTE £55,000 We are representing a forward-thinking organisation within the property sector that is driving innovation through technology. Our Client wants to see personality, engagement and passion about the industry, to be successful** About The Role As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in promoting, onboarding and training users on an innovative new platform designed to support the property industry. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine business development, relationship management and market engagement. You'll represent the business at regional and national events, deliver engaging presentations, and build meaningful relationships with estate agents and stakeholders across the sector. Key Responsibilities
- Promote and grow awareness of the platform, presenting at events and conferences.
- Onboard and train new users, ensuring a confident and informed transition.
- Develop long-term relationships with property agents and industry partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
- Sell and negotiate platform services, closing deals and driving adoption.
- Liaise internally to ensure cohesive communication and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
- Proven experience in business development or client-facing roles.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to drive growth through relationships.
- Confidence when presenting to audiences both online and in person.
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload effectively.
- Background in estate agency or property-related sectors.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales-focused environment.
- Awareness of current property industry trends and challenges.
