Application Support Engineer

IT Application Support - SQL, JavaScript & Unix

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Application Support Engineer who is well versed with SQL, Unix (or Linux) and a good understanding of JavaScript. You do not need to code in JavaScript, just the ability to read and understand it and de-bug if required.

Hybrid working

6 months +

Strong customer faqcung skills required also - You will play an integral role in building knowledge and be part of strategic initiatives for process improvements. The team is responsible for the platform and data integrity.

Key skills & experience

  • Hands on SQL experience
  • JavaScript
  • Unix or Linux
  • Object-oriented programming languages like Java.
  • Understanding of the components in the web applications stack.
  • Other Scripting languages: Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell.
  • Good Experience with relational databases MySQL, Oracle etc.
