With over 35 years' experience in IT recruitment, we've built an excellent reputation for developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. We're now looking for our next Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Exeter office.

Your Career Path

From day one, you'll receive structured training and support from experienced recruiters.

Your first few months will focus on learning the recruitment industry by becoming an expert at identifying, interviewing and managing candidates. This provides the foundations needed to become a successful consultant.

As your confidence and experience grow, typically within your first six months, you'll progress into client management, developing your own client relationships, generating new business opportunities and managing the full recruitment process from start to finish.

Our aim is to develop you into a successful Recruitment Consultant with responsibility for both candidates and clients.

What You'll Be Doing Initially

• Sourcing high-quality candidates using job boards, LinkedIn and social media.
• Speaking with candidates to understand their skills, experience and career aspirations.
• Building strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Supporting clients by identifying the best talent for their vacancies.
• Learning the recruitment process from experienced consultants.

As You Progress

• Managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Developing new business opportunities.
• Building long-term client relationships.
• Advising clients on recruitment strategy and market conditions.
• Managing the recruitment process from vacancy briefing through to successful placement.
