  • Act as the senior authority for Azure and Databricks data platforms, setting standards and best practices

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define data priorities, governance, and investment decisions

  • Oversee architecture, data platforms, analytics, and reporting capabilities (without hands-on build)

  • Ensure data quality, security, governance, and regulatory compliance

  • Manage delivery through planning, prioritisation, and roadmap ownership

  • Own vendor relationships and third-party engagements where applicable

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a Data Leadership / Head of Data / Data Platform Lead role

  • Strong strategic understanding of Azure data services and Databricks ecosystems

  • Demonstrated success leading medium-sized data teams (10+ people)

  • Experience creating and executing enterprise-wide data strategies

  • Ability to engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders

  • Strong governance, operating model, and delivery management experience
