We’re seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join a leading organisation in Birmingham on a contract basis. You’ll be responsible for enhancing and supporting the organisation’s IAM framework across cloud and on-prem environments, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 and Entra technologies.

This role sits within a key transformation programme aimed at strengthening identity governance, access control, and data protection — including the rollout of BeyondTrust privileged access management.

• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of IAM solutions across enterprise systems.

• Manage user lifecycle processes — provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.

• Configure and administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.

• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview policies for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and information labelling/classification.

• Provide expertise on M365 identity, access, and compliance features.

• Support the implementation of BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management (PAM).

• Ensure IAM controls align with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

• Work closely with Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to maintain a secure access environment.

• Proven experience as an IAM Specialist / Engineer / Consultant.

• Strong working knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

  • Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid)

  • Microsoft 365 (identity and compliance administration)

  • Microsoft Purview DLP and labelling/classification

• Experience implementing or supporting BeyondTrust (PAM) is highly desirable.

• Excellent understanding of authentication, authorisation, RBAC, and identity governance principles.

• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
