We’re seeking an experienced Service Desk Technical Consultant to join a small, high-performing team within a leading international technology solutions provider. You’ll deliver remote support to enterprise clients across sectors including Finance, Manufacturing, and Retail, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide 1st and 2nd line remote support for IBM i / Power Systems environments

Monitor and manage enterprise systems, backups, HA and DR processes

Investigate and resolve incidents through to completion

Perform patching, upgrades, and technical consultancy as required

Maintain accurate documentation and ticketing records

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a senior Service Desk or Operations role

Strong IBM i (Power i) expertise in enterprise environments

Experience with IBM i OS, BRMS, work & performance management

Knowledge of SQL, CL, SSL, key management, virtualisation and HA solutions (e.g. Mimix)

Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g. Jira)

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
