We are working with a leading banking institution committed to operational resilience, service excellence, and regulatory compliance. As part of our continued investment in resilience and recovery capabilities, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Resilience / Business Continuity Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end project management of Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises on behalf of the Service Continuity team

  • Organise and lead DR workshops and tabletop/ desktop exercises, especially across infrastructure and cybersecurity domains

  • Coordinate technology support for facilities-related activities (e.g., data center power down/ power up events)

  • Update and maintain internal systems of record to track application-level DR statuses

  • Work closely with tech pillars to drive individual application-level DR testing

  • Maintain and review DR-related documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory readiness

  • Prepare and submit timely management reports related to DR activities, CHIP forums, and operational resilience practices

  • Represent Service Continuity at formal forums and internal governance meetings

  • Continuously improve the service continuity framework, aligned with PRA, DORA, and other relevant regulatory mandates

    Essential Skills & Experience
    • Proven ability to develop and execute scenario testing in line with regulatory expectations

    • Experience in a financially regulated environment

    • Strong technical infrastructure knowledge - networking, virtual servers, data replication, databases, and backup technologies

    • Ability to interpret and challenge DR recovery plans with credible technical input

    • Strong decision-making skills under pressure, particularly during live DR testing

    • Capable of identifying and proposing risk mitigation and remedial actions for resilience gaps

    • Experience of working cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and senior stakeholders

    • IT project management skills (PRINCE2 preferred)

    • ITIL Foundation (or above) preferred
