QA Engineer - HYBRID WORKING

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our client who are a leading force in their commercial sector and have a fantastic reputation as an employer.

Purpose of Role:

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all Professional Services meet the highest quality standards before release. This role involves planning, designing, and executing a variety of test types—including exploratory, regression, UI, and release testing.

The QA Engineer plays a critical part in safeguarding the reliability, usability, and overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, reviews, and executes comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Performs exploratory, unit, UI, regression, and release testing; conducts cross-browser and mobile device testing to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Logs, tracks, and reports defects using standard issue management systems, and collaborates with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Works closely with developers, UX designers, and project managers to review requirements, share testing insights, and validate fixes.

Previous Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in software quality assurance.
  • Experience in functional testing.
  • Experience in front end/design testing.
  • Degree in Computer Science / UX Design or equivalent work experience.
  • ISTQB qualification not essential but a nice to have.
