Our client is looking for an experienced Web Applications Support Engineer to join them on a contract basis. You'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving critical web applications, ensuring high availability and performance for end users.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st/2nd line support for web-based applications
- Investigate and resolve incidents, bugs, and performance issues
- Work closely with technical teams to diagnose and fix defects
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and fixes
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with JavaScript in a production environment
- Basic knowledge of SQL (query writing, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems (Shell Scripting, log analysis, system commands)
- Experience supporting web applications in a live environment
- Familiarity with debugging tools and monitoring systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach
