About the Role

We're looking for a talented Web Developer with strong Umbraco CMS experience to join a growing Development & Delivery team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a range of client-facing websites and self-service platforms built primarily within Umbraco. You'll work closely with product owners, designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver modern, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance websites built on Umbraco CMS
  • Support ongoing improvements to CMS functionality, performance, and usability
  • Build responsive and accessible web solutions
  • Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website and CMS-related issues
  • Collaborate with product owners, digital teams, and external design agencies
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Support CMS upgrades and platform maintenance
  • Contribute to testing processes, including unit and automated testing
  • Follow release and deployment processes, including release documentation
  • Monitor development progress and support issue resolution in production
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices across web and CMS development
Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience working with Umbraco CMS
  • Experience with C# and .NET technologies
  • Understanding of ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and CMS-based applications
  • Front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience delivering responsive and accessible websites
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Good understanding of modern web development best practices
  • Experience working collaboratively with designers and digital teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA/Confluence
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience working within large or enterprise-scale environments
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
