IIoT Security Engineer
Are you a strategic thinker with deep technical understanding of industrial cybersecurity, capable of bridging IT, OT, and compliance? Do You excel in translating complex regulations like the CRA into practical controls and guiding cross-functional teams toward secure, compliant IIoT solutions? Then this role is for you!
Main Responsibilities
- Develop & enforce IIoT security policies
Define standards for device hardening, authentication, encryption, patching, and secure connectivity. - Perform risk and vulnerability assessments
Identify threats in IIoT environments, assess system weaknesses, and propose mitigation measures. - Ensure regulatory compliance
Align all IIoT products and systems with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), IEC 62443, ISO 27001, etc. - Incident monitoring & response
Analyze security incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and create preventive strategies. - Employee training & awareness
Build security culture around IIoT awareness and best practices. - Coordinate third-party evaluations
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with IIoT security or industrial control system (ICS) cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of:
- Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
- IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST SP 800-82, or ENISA guidelines
- Secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and patch/update management
- Proven track record in risk and vulnerability assessments
- Certifications (advantage): CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, or similar.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
