Technical Lead - Stuttgart

We're looking for a German speaking Tech Lead at AI Robotics Company

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join a fast-paced AI robotics start-up as part of the lead team. We're looking for experienced candidates with both strong technical understanding and leadership experience in a startup environment. In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop tech team members. While the technical understanding is the key, hands-on coding will not be required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of development - from prototyping and experimentation to deployment at scale.
• Foster collaboration and mentor engineers across different specializations.
• Drive technical direction and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong engineering background: at least 4 years of experience in software development (C++ and/or Python) with an emphasis on performance-critical, real-time, or distributed systems.
• Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Robotics: motion planning, control, sensor fusion, ROS2.
• AI/ML: deep learning, reinforcement learning, 3D perception, vision-language models.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: GCP, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, microservices.
• Proven track record of shipping complex products - bridging research with practical applications.
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with experience integrating multiple technologies into cohesive solutions.
