Head of CRM (Software Development)

Northampton | Up to £80,000 per annum + 5%-15% annual bonus | 4 days on-site per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of CRM to join a leading organisation , taking a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company’s CRM strategy . This is a hands-on leadership position that blends technical expertise with strategic vision and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the CRM strategy to align with business goals.
  • Lead design, development, and integrations across the Zoho suite (CRM, Creator, Analytics, Flow, Desk, Campaigns, etc.).
  • Manage and mentor a skilled CRM development and support team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in workflows, automation, and data quality.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Oversee CRM governance, documentation, and best practices.
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with security standards.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience with Zoho CRM (advanced configuration, automation, and customisation).
  • Strong knowledge of the wider Zoho ecosystem and API integrations.
  • Proven experience leading CRM or technical teams.
  • Skilled in Deluge scripting and custom app development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and familiar with agile methodologies
