We’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation looking for an experienced Senior Linux / Oracle DBA to support and enhance critical banking platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong expertise across Oracle databases, IBM Power infrastructure, and enterprise Linux/AIX environments, ideally within banking or financial services.

Key experience required:

• Oracle DBA administration in enterprise environments
• Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard & performance tuning
• Linux (RHEL / Oracle Linux) and AIX administration
• IBM Power 10 infrastructure
• Oracle Flexcube support within banking (nice to have)
• Shell scripting (Bash/Korn) and advanced SQL/PLSQL
• Production support, DR planning, patching & automation

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the performance, stability, and availability of mission-critical finance applications while working closely with infrastructure, application, and senior IT teams.

Ideal background:

✔ 7+ years Oracle DBA experience

✔ Strong banking/financial services exposure (nice to have)

✔ Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills

✔ Comfortable working independently in complex enterprise environments
