While the title is Operations Manager, a key part of the remit is helping the business grow its various offerings by bringing structure, consistency, and proven sales thinking into how it operates.The role
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple areas of the business, ensuring things run smoothly and priorities are clear
- Play a central role in supporting and driving sales-led growth across different parts of the organisation
- Apply practical experience of what works commercially, helping turn ideas into repeatable, deliverable outcomes
- Bring organisation and structure to a fast-moving environment, managing time, workload, and competing demands effectively
- Work closely with leadership to improve performance, decision-making, and execution
- Act as a bridge between commercial and technical teams, keeping conversations aligned and grounded in reality
- Experience in a commercially focused role where sales or revenue growth formed a meaningful part of your responsibility
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own time without heavy process or oversight
- A practical, delivery-focused mindset with confidence in making decisions and following them through
- Comfortable working in smaller businesses or scale-ups where you've had to wear multiple hats
- Technically aware enough to hold credible conversations with technical teams and clients, without needing to be hands-on
- Open to learning and adapting, with the right mindset outweighing sector-specific experience
- Someone from a smaller IT, technology or SaaS business who's been involved in both operations and sales
- A commercially minded operator looking to step up into a broader, more influential role
- Experience in SaaS or recurring revenue environments would be beneficial, but not essential
- MSP experience is not required if you bring the right approach and thinking
