Solutions Architect
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in crafting, developing, and deploying cutting-edge IT and business solutions for various portfolio clients. This key position involves remote work flexibility, with potential occasional travel to company locations within the UK for stakeholder interactions, project assessments, and the seamless implementation of tailored solutions.
As Solutions Architect for our client, you'll lead the design and architecture of our clients next-generation electronic healthcare record and case management platform, support our development teams in enhancing existing systems and working with customers and employees to identify robust and innovative solutions to a range of healthcare challenges.
As Solutions Architect you will be responsible for l eading on solutions design and architecture across our development teams including:
- Take a leading role in the design and architecture of our clients management system and patient/customer/supplier integration platform.
- Supporting our sales and account management teams with product design and technical customer engagement.
- Supporting development teams across the division in enhancing existing platforms by guiding technical standards and preventing architectural drift.
- Embedding interoperability as a core design principle using standards such as FHIR and/or OpenEHR, and building for future NHS Spine integrations.
- Championing secure, privacy-aware system design, including secure APIs and identity management.
To be seriously considered for the role of Solutions Architect, please have the following:
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or the equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
A track record in API-first system design and development (ideally using the .NET Core / ASP.NET / C# stack), familiarity with the UK healthcare environment, knowledge of security architecture using OAuth2, OpenID Connect and/or Smart on FHIR.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including App Services / Functions, Azure SQL etc, familiarity with healthcare technology (including EHRs, clinical interoperability standards - e.g. FHIR, and terminology services), knowledge of data modelling and both relational (SQL server, Postgres) and document (e.g. CosmosDB) databases.
Skills:
Able to translate business needed into a scalable, security and interoperable system design, define and enforce architectural standards and governance, and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should have great written and verbal communication skills.
Salary up to £70,000 per annum,
25 days annual leave, with option to purchase additional leave.
