The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is the global leader in professional darts, delivering world-class events such as the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, BetMGM Premier League, and Betfred World Matchplay.

The organisation’s commercial department plays a central role in driving revenue, partnership growth, ticketing strategy, and business intelligence. As the PDC continues to scale its operations and global impact through an unprecedented period of growth, the need for sharp, actionable insights is greater than ever.

We’re looking for a Data & Insights Analyst to support the commercial team’s strategy and execution — helping us better understand fan behaviour, unlock value for our partners, and support decision-making across departments, including our media and content teams.

Role Overview

As a Data & Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data that supports commercial goals across the PDC. This includes areas such as sponsorship and OTT analytics, ticketing and fan engagement insights, merchandise performance, and audience trends across digital content.

You will work across a variety of areas including media, marketing, ticketing, and partnerships to produce reports, dashboards, and strategic insights that inform day-to-day decision-making and long-term planning.

The PDC is a relatively small and dynamic team which will provide the individual with the opportunity to immerse themselves across all aspects of the business, as well as working at live events to support the commercial team in delivering for PDC partners across fan activations.

Here is a more detailed breakdown of the key duties:

• Lead the data strategy and insights across the business to help guide PDC strategy
• Be the main point of contact with a range of data sources and third party providers, including data warehousing, media valuations, broadcast/OTT and digital
• Creation of regular reporting insight documents for PDC sponsors and partners throughout the year to showcase value being delivered across all PDC channels and touchpoints
• Support the commercial team to produce tailored insights for new business proposals to showcase alignment between brand and the PDC audience
• Work with various teams across the business to support and provide insights to guide strategic decision making and planning
• Provide regular internal reporting and tracking of insights from fans across the database
• Keep up to date with the latest market trends and developments to share with the wider team
• Attend various events throughout the year and support the commercial team in delivering activation for sponsors and partners

Essential Requirements

• A passion for sport in general and an understanding of darts
• A degree or relevant qualification the related discipline
• Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Good understanding of data analysis from multiple sources, such as data warehouses and delivery through CRM systems
• Experience working with data from Google Analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Keen attention to detail with good written and communication skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

• Previous role working in this area of data and insights
• Familiarity with databases and data analysis tools/platforms
• Understanding of sponsorship valuation models or media value reporting
• Full UK driving licence and a desire to travel to PDC events (which may be at anti-social hours)

Job Details

• Salary negotiable depending on experience
• Hybrid role split between home working and working at the PDC’s Head office in Brentwood, Essex (CM14 5LJ)
