A Technology Manufacturer based in Andover, Hampshire is looking to recruit an Embedded Software Engineer to develop complex embedded control and sensing systems. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate in the development of complex systems including development and design, implementation and installation. This role is on site full time in Andover and offers a competitive starting salary and benefits.As Embedded Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Developing software for microprocessor-based embedded systems and supporting Windows applicationsContributing to full lifecycle development including requirements analysis, concept creation, system design, implementation and installationDesigning and implementing real-time closed-loop control and sensing applications for on-board and SoC devicesWorking with embedded targets such as Zynq 7000 series SoCs, TI MSP430 processors and Renesas RX series devicesCreating GUI-based control and test applications to support embedded system developmentDeveloping Windows applications in C# using Microsoft Visual StudioKey skills and experience needed for the Embedded Software Engineer:Strong background in developing software for embedded systemsProven ability to write high-quality C code, with a minimum of two years' experienceHands-on experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for Windows application development, ideally with C#Practical experience in hardware-level debugging and component-level testingExcellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skillsDegree in Computing or another numerate discipline, or equivalent professional experienceAs Embedded Software Engineer, you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes:Up to £39,500 basic salary25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysFlexible salary sacrifice scheme whereby staff can buy/sell up to 5 days holiday on an annual basisPension schemeHealth insurance schemeDeath in service at 3 x gross salaryFree parking on siteSports & social club membershipWorking hours are 8.30 - 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9am - 3pm on FridayThis is a great opportunity to advance your career within embedded software engineering, please do not hesitate to apply through this advert.TPBN1_UKTJ
