Project Manager

We're working with a leading technology-driven organisation that specialises in advanced surveillance and AI-based camera systems. They're seeking a dynamic individual to take ownership of large-scale projects and deliver exceptional results.
This Project Manager role is an office-based role in Andover, Hampshire working on cutting-edge projects in an innovative environment offering a salary of £70,000 per annum. Due to the nature of the projects you will need to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
Key responsibilities of this Project Manager role:
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
- Leading project planning, execution, and governance processes.
- Chairing project review meetings and reporting progress against key milestones.
- Managing budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver projects on time and within cost.
- Identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Overseeing subcontractors and partners to maintain quality standards.
- Driving continuous improvement and spotting opportunities for follow-on business.
- Mentoring and managing a Project Officer to ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications and experience required for this Project Manager role:
- Proven experience in project/program management within technical or defence sectors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and risk management.
- Experience delivering manufactured products/programs and managing client relationships.
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).
- Familiarity with MoD acquisition processes, ISO 9001 auditing, MRP systems and overseas government projects is desirable but not essential.
- Qualifications such as APMP, PRINCE2 or an engineering background are highly advantageous.
