About the Role

The company is hiring a Senior Marketing Designer to elevate and evolve its marketing design output.

This is a brand-new role, created to bring senior-level ownership and direction to marketing design. The successful candidate will be the most senior marketing designer in the business, responsible for shaping how the brand is expressed across campaigns and channels.

Sitting within the Design team and working closely with Marketing, this role focuses on delivering high-quality creative work at pace—while maintaining consistency and strengthening the brand over time. There is already a solid brand system in place; the focus here is not reinvention, but thoughtful evolution.

The role also includes mentoring a mid-level marketing designer and acting as a key partner to marketing, brand, and performance teams. Over time, there is potential for this role to grow into a leadership position.

Success will be measured by the quality and consistency of marketing output, the strength of campaign creative, and the contribution design makes to acquisition and brand performance.

What This Role Involves

The person in this role will:

  • Lead the visual direction of marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels
  • Concept and execute creative across digital and print (paid social, partnerships, email, landing pages, OOH, affiliates, organic social)
  • Evolve the brand within marketing contexts through controlled, thoughtful design decisions
  • Own projects end-to-end, from brief through to delivery
  • Partner closely with marketing stakeholders to align creative with campaign objectives
  • Balance speed and quality, knowing where craft matters most
  • Contribute to overall design quality through feedback and informal reviews
  • Support and mentor a mid-level marketing designer

The Person

This role is suited to someone who combines strong craft with ownership and commercial awareness.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has significant experience in marketing design across campaigns, brand assets, and communications
  • Is comfortable both setting visual direction and executing high-quality work
  • Has experience evolving an existing brand system, rather than building from scratch
  • Demonstrates strong visual judgement and attention to detail
  • Has worked within a product-led company and understands how to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Is self-sufficient, proactive, and able to manage work without close supervision
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with marketing teams
  • Brings a strong sense of ownership and accountability

This role particularly suits someone who has worked within established brands or well-regarded companies, where consistency and quality are critical.

An interest in investing, fintech, or personal finance is important—candidates should ideally have a genuine curiosity about the space.

Tools & Ways of Working

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion or video design (e.g. After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g. finance, fintech)
  • Familiarity with using AI tools in design workflows
  • Understanding of how financial products are communicated within constraints

Practical Details
