Project and Innovation Director

Now Hiring: Project & Innovation Director (PID)
Location: Milton Keynes, UK | Contract: Up to 10 months | Rate: Up to £880/day
Department: Operations | Reports to: Operations Director, UK

Are you a visionary leader in innovation, R&D, and IT project management? We're looking for a Project & Innovation Director to drive cutting-edge process development and technology integration within our chemical manufacturing operations.

• Lead R&D projects from lab to production scale, with a focus on solid dosage forms

• Oversee IT and digital innovation for product development and operations

• Direct setup and management of pilot/R&D units, equipment, and validation

• Champion cross-functional project delivery and stakeholder alignment

• Identify and implement best practices in project governance and risk management

• PhD or Master's in IT, Engineering or related field

• 10+ years in Chemical/Materials industry, incl. R&D project leadership

• Strong IT background (5+ years), with expertise in implementation and validation

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• PMP certification and pharma/biotech experience a plus
