2x Site Managers for substation builds - Reading and Epping

???? Site Managers (x2) - Substation Projects - M&E Focused ???? ???? Locations: Reading (SSE Framework) & Epping (UKPN Framework) '? Rate: £400/ day (CIS) ???? Duration: 6 Months ?-? Principal Contractor Role

We are currently seeking two experienced Site Managers to join our team on high-profile substation projects in Reading and Epping. These roles are offered on a CIS contract basis and will run for an initial 6-month period, with strong potential for extension.

???? The Projects:

• Reading - Working on a substation build under the SSE framework
• Epping - Substation project under the UKPN framework

  Both sites are post-civils, so the focus is now on M&E delivery. You'll be instrumental in driving the mechanical and electrical phases to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and programme adherence.

  ? Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily site operations and coordinate M&E subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company procedures
  • Manage site documentation, RAMS, and progress reporting
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders
  • Drive programme delivery and resolve on-site issues efficiently

    ???? Requirements:

    • Proven experience managing M&E works on substation or similar infrastructure projects
    • Strong knowledge of SSE or UKPN standards (depending on location)
    • SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant electrical qualifications preferred
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple trades on site
