Senior QS

One of our clients need a Senior QS to assist them on a National Grid substation project in Birmingham. Set up: * ASAP start * 6-month initial contract * Working on National Grid substation project * Hybrid role - 3 days on site * Inside IR35 Key Responsibilities: * Needed for number crunching, look at cost forecasting, taking costs, look at programmes * Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/ or the client. * Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work. * Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies. * Perform risk, value management, and cost control. * Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks. * Prepare and analyse costings for tenders. Client requirements: * Proven experience as Senior QS in project setting * Strong NEC (4) knowledge * Previously worked for Tier 1 contractor * Previously worked on relevant project - OHL/ substations/ utilities/ nuclear/ water etc * Proven experience as Senior QS
