About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Controller with a strong background in engineering or construction to aour clients dynamic team in Inverness. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the clients large-scale projects by managing contract costs, estimating costs to completion, and supporting commercial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control contract costs across multiple engineering and construction projects.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost forecasts and estimates to completion.
• Support the commercial team in managing budgets, variations, and financial risk.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Collaborate with project managers and quantity surveyors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Provide commercial administration support on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cost control within the engineering or construction sectors.
  • Strong understanding of commercial administration and financial reporting.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally in infrastructure or industrial construction.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel.
