As we prepare for our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a Head of Product to own and lead our product vision end-to-end.

Your Role

As Head of Product, you’ll be a core member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to define and deliver Prolo’s product strategy.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Owning Prolo’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with company goals.
• Translating the complex needs of construction buyers, commercial managers, and material suppliers into a seamless, AI-driven digital experience.
• Leading and growing a high-performing product function (Product, Design, UX) as we scale.
• Partnering with Engineering to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions at pace.
• Embedding a strong product culture built on data, experimentation, and customer obsession.
• Driving deep user discovery with stakeholders across construction, procurement, and supply chains to solve their deepest workflow pain points.
• Balancing speed and quality in a startup environment where momentum matters.
• Playing a key role in shaping our story for investors ahead of future funding rounds.
• Ensuring Prolo becomes a product customers genuinely love and rely on every day.

You’ll have real autonomy to shape what we build, why we build it, and how we build it.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior product leadership role (VP/Head of Product or Lead PM looking to step up), ideally in a high-growth tech startup.
• Strong track record of shipping successful B2B SaaS, procurement, construction or marketplace products.
• Deep understanding of product strategy, discovery, delivery, and lifecycle management.
• A strong grasp of how to practically apply AI/LLMs to automate manual workflows and structure complex data.
• Hands-on experience prototyping rapidly with AI-native development platforms (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, Replit, Claude) to validate product concepts.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels. —Yyou can write the vision and the specs.
• Commercially minded with the ability to align product decisions to revenue, GMV, and growth.
• Excellent communicator who can inspire teams, influence across the business, and speak confidently to investors.
• Experience working closely with Engineering in agile environments.

Bonus Points

• Experience within industry verticals like construction tech (ConTech), logistics, or supply chain.
• Familiarity with the UK construction market and the software they currently use (ERPs, estimation tools, inventory management).
