The Role We are looking for a International Financial Accountant to join our fast-paced, high-performing international accounting team. As we continue to grow and expand globally, we understand that hiring the right people and treating them well is key to our success! This individual will be an integral part of the international accounting team with focus in European and LATAM countries. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand. This role is Hybrid, Cork or Belfast. Your day-to-day
- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules
- Prepare journal entries based on review of supporting reconciliations and schedules
- General Ledger responsibilities including, but not limited to monthly Management reporting packages, Accounting for International Subs, Accruals, and other areas
- Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analyses for management reporting
- Support in the procure to pay process
- Support in annual subs audits where applicable
- Support team in finance SOX compliance activities
- Assist in process improvement projects, including coordination with cross-functional teams
- Deliver on any ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Experience as a Qualified accountant, with a recognised accounting qualification
- Experience in general accounting in industry and/or a public accounting firm
- Experience working with international subsidiaries is a plus
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of US GAAP a plus
- Strong proficiency in Excel, ability to organize and communicate effectively across various mediums with varying audiences
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skills
- System ERP experience a plus, primarily D365
