The Role – Sales Director

We're looking for an experienced Sales Director to join the Modern Workplace Large Deal Team, leading major bids at a large systems integrator. This is a senior commercial role focused on shaping, leading and closing complex, high value Modern Workplace managed services and professional services deals. You'll take ownership of major pursuits, working closely with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders to secure long term, strategic partnerships.

What will you be doing as Sales Director?

  • Owning and leading the full deal lifecycle for major Modern Workplace deals, from qualification through to contract signature.
  • Developing winning pursuit strategies, value propositions, commercial models and competitive positioning.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C suite executives.
  • Acting as the primary commercial lead and support customers throughout long and complex sales cycles.
  • Leading commercial negotiations and shaping proposals, pricing models and contractual frameworks.
  • Working closely with legal, finance, pricing, solution and delivery teams to ensure strong governance and risk management.
  • Leading and managing cross functional teams to ensure aligned and effective execution.
  • Providing clear updates on deal progress, forecasting and pipeline status.
  • Staying close to market trends, competitor activity and developments within the Modern Workplace space

Who do we need for our Sales Director role?

We're looking for a senior commercial leader with a strong track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals. You'll bring:

  • Significant experience, typically 10 plus years, in strategic enterprise sales and solution-led selling
  • Exposure to Modern Workplace sales, Managed Services, IT consulting or technology services sales
  • Proven success in managing complex contracts, tenders and executive level negotiations
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance customer value and sustainable business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, executive presence and the confidence to influence at board level
  • Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in high value pursuit environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise buying processes, potentially across multiple regions
