Senior PMO Analyst

From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Senior PMO Analyst to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

As a Senior PMO Analyst, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maturing our Portfolio Management Office in an innovative and fast paced organisation, underpinned by in-house product design and development teams.
Role responsibilities:
Framework & Standards
- Work closely with the Head of PMO to develop and embed an effective framework, setting standards, methods, artefacts to best enable agile decision making for delivery.
- Help to bridge the gap between PMO governance and Agile delivery practices, ensuring consistent visibility of sprint-level progress and outcomes.
- Manage elements of the PMO framework and associated artefacts on behalf of the Head of PMO. Including maturing a consistent approach to risk, issue, and dependency management across the delivery portfolio, supporting proactive mitigation and escalation.
- Support and assure adherence to the PMO framework & standards
Governance, Control & Reporting
- Assist and support with project planning, ensuring milestones and dependencies are documented and maintained.
- Assist and support with identification, assessment and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support the Head of Change to embed and maintain effective portfolio and project governance structures and reporting cycles, providing insight into delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Provide secretarial duties for steering committees, including coordination of steering committee inputs and management of outputs
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date, performing quality assurance as required.
- Contribute to key reporting activity, reporting into ExCo and Board
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to Project Managers, Product, Technology and Business Leads, building strong relationships and helping to ensure alignment between business outcomes and delivery capability.
- Provide guidance and best-practice support, helping to embed and mature PMO services across the business.
Data & Tooling
- Work closely with the Head of PMO to design, develop and maintain portfolio and project management information including dashboards and KPIs (Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Excel or equivalent), ensuring data quality and value add insights.
Portfolio Management
- Identify improvements to PMO processes, tooling and governance to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency as the organisation scales.
- Identify portfolio wide challenges to projects and common themes, including portfolio risks
- As required, support the Head of PMO and Head of Change in establishing and maintaining portfolio processes such as portfolio planning, prioritisation, benefits management, change control and operational risk and control management.
Key skills required:
- Previous PMO experience within financial services
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and how they align with PMO governance and portfolio management practices
- Experience with Jira and Confluence tooling
- Strong soft skills, proactive, positive and resilient
- Strong analytical skills
- Can operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration skills
- Passion for continuous improvement and PMO
