Compliance Manager

🚨 We’re hiring: Compliance Manager (Data Protection & Operational Compliance) - Permanent role - Remote/Must be open to being onsite in Wokingham once a month - Up to £80,000

Join the Technology team and play a key role in shaping and delivering our data protection and operational compliance activities.

🔍 About the role

Reporting to the CTO, you’ll act as our Data Protection Officer (DPO), taking a hands-on approach to GDPR compliance, customer assurance, and internal operational practices. This is a practical, delivery-focused role where you’ll work closely with teams across the business to embed strong data protection standards.

💼 Key responsibilities

• Lead data protection activities and act as DPO

• Manage GDPR documentation (RoPA, DPIAs, data mapping)

• Oversee data subject requests (SARs, erasure, correction)

• Support internal compliance reviews and training

• Partner with Sales & Customer Success on client assurance

• Liaise with the ICO and support regulatory requirements

✅ What we’re looking for

• Someone who has worked in a small business heading up all things compliance

• Proven experience in data protection or compliance

• Strong knowledge of GDPR and ICO guidance

• Hands-on experience managing SARs and compliance documentation

• Familiarity with ISO audit processes

• Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or BCS DP Practitioner
