Executive Assistant
Executive Assistant to Founder | AI Scale-Up | Remote (London) with travel| Salary: £40,000
I’m working with an ambitious AI scale-up approaching an exciting stage of growth as they move towards Series A. They are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work directly with the Founder and CEO, providing exceptional support across diary management, communications, organisation and day-to-day priorities.
This is a great opportunity for an EA who enjoys working closely with a founder, thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to play a key role in helping a growing business operate effectively.
You will become a trusted partner to the Founder, ensuring her time is organised effectively, communications are managed professionally and important actions are followed through.
The role:
- Take ownership of the Founder’s busy inbox, prioritising communications, drafting responses where appropriate and ensuring important conversations are followed up
- Manage and organise a complex diary, helping prioritise meetings and protect the Founder’s time
- Act as a professional point of contact with customers, partners, investors, startup programmes and external stakeholders
- Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes, presentations and supporting documents ahead of key meetings
- Coordinate meetings, events and speaking engagements, ensuring all logistics are organised smoothly
- Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodation and itineraries alongside the Founder
- Track actions, deadlines and follow-ups to ensure commitments are delivered
- Work closely with internal teams to gather information and prepare high-quality executive materials
- Support company meetings, leadership sessions and events as the business continues to grow
About you:
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a Founder, CEO or senior executive
- Strong experience managing diaries, inboxes and competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence drafting communications on behalf of a senior leader
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information
- Confident building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Experience in a startup, scale-up or fast-paced environment would be beneficial
The ideal person will be:
- Calm, organised and adaptable
- Someone who enjoys variety and being close to a growing business
- Proactive and naturally solution-focused
- Comfortable taking ownership and managing priorities without needing constant direction
- A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships
Location & travel:
This is a remote-based role with flexibility around location. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable travelling internationally with the Founder when required, supporting meetings, events and business activities.
