Marketing Effectiveness Manager

🚀 Marketing Effectiveness Manager

📍 London | Hybrid (2 days in office + flexibility)

💰 up to £90,000 + bonus

I'm working with a global leader in marketing effectiveness - a fast-scaling consultancy with serious pedigree, operating across a real variety of sectors, from retail & FMCG to finance and automotive. Their presence is long-standing, they know what good looks like, and they're growing fast.

This is a people management role. You'll lead a team, you'll lead accounts, you'll drive commercial growth - and you'll do it from a strong technical foundation.

What you'll be doing

You'll run MMM and marketing effectiveness programmes end to end - from scoping and data strategy through to modelling, insights, and client activation. You'll manage multiple accounts, lead project teams, and act as the senior point of contact for clients at C-suite level.

That means:

  • Overseeing full MMM programme delivery across multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Translating complex model outputs into clear, commercially actionable narratives for senior stakeholders
  • Line managing and mentoring a team, running 1:1s, performance reviews, and talent development
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and supporting account growth
  • Contributing to proposals, pitches, and RFPs alongside senior leadership
  • Driving quality, profitability, and client satisfaction on every engagement

What you'll bring

  • Extensive previous experience in MMM, marketing effectiveness, or econometrics - ideally from a consultancy or media agency background
  • Strong Python skills (R and SQL a bonus)
  • Solid grounding in econometrics, regression, and Bayesian methods
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage multiple priorities at once
  • Excellent stakeholder communication - you can present to a CMO without losing the room
  • Commercial instinct - you understand the upsell, the renewal, the relationship
  • Media agency background welcome, but you'll need the commercial edge to match the technical one

This will suit you if:

  • You've led MMM programmes, not just contributed to them
  • You're comfortable owning a client relationship, not just servicing one
  • You enjoy developing junior talent as much as doing the work yourself
  • You thrive in fast-paced, consulting-style environments with real delivery pressure
  • You want genuine career progression - pathways are clearly mapped out here

This probably won't be right for you if:

  • You want a pure data science or modelling role
  • You prefer working in-house with a single brand
  • You're not comfortable in a client-facing, commercially accountable position
  • You're looking for remote-first
  • You can't line manage a team

Practical details:

  • Up to £90,000 base plus bonus
  • 2 days per week in office, central London
  • Full right to work in the UK required
  • Sponsorship cannot be provided
  • Pre-employment checks will be required

If your background is in MMM or marketing effectiveness consultancy and you're ready to step up into full account ownership, I'd love to hear from you!
