Senior Account Executive
Our client is a VC-backed, early-stage AI SaaS business transforming how frontline citizen services are delivered at scale. They partner with local authorities, central government, and mission-driven organisations across employment, housing, justice, and health — modernising outdated systems and driving better outcomes for underserved communities.
The Role
This is a senior, strategic commercial hire within a high-growth AI business already gaining strong traction across the UK public sector. You’ll own the full enterprise sales cycle, selling a genuinely differentiated SaaS platform into local authorities and wider public sector organisations. You’ll operate within complex, stakeholder-heavy environments and play a key role in shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy as they scale.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle enterprise SaaS sales across UK public sector accounts
- Build and manage strategic pipeline activity, supported by SDR resource
- Engage senior stakeholders across local authorities, procurement, operations, and leadership teams
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments and long procurement cycles
- Refine ICP, commercial messaging, and go-to-market strategy
- Feed customer insight directly into product and company direction
- Maintain strong forecasting, CRM discipline, and commercial reporting
About You
- Extensive experience in complex B2B SaaS sales environments
- Proven success selling into UK public sector organisations or local authorities
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks, and stakeholder management
- Track record of exceeding quota within complex enterprise sales cycles
- Experience operating within startup or scale-up environments
- Commercially sharp, highly organised, and consultative in approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and autonomy
- Genuinely mission-driven and values-aligned
