AV Design Engineer

Excellent opportunity for a talented AV Design Engineer (£30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits) to join our Client's professional team in Cambridgeshire

You will be working with industry experts on exciting projects to design and install bespoke AV, lighting control, networking, CCTV, and automation systems for luxury residential properties, commercial spaces, and the marine industry.

About the Role: You will

• Prepare technical drawings
• Collaborate with project teams
• Conduct site visits
• Specify equipment
• Ensure designs are functional and aesthetically pleasing
• Meet client needs
• Provide technical support during installations
• Work closely with vendors to stay updated on AV technologies

Qualifications

• Experience in AV system design and implementation
• Proficiency in using design software (like AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
• Certifications in AV design (e.g., CTS, CTS-D) are a plus
