AV Production Engineer

Excellent opportunity for an AV Production Engineer (£30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits) to join our Client's expanding team in Exeter.

Your role will include:

• Preparation, final assembly, looming and terminating a wide range of cabling and hardware
• Testing products prior to shipping
• Maintain high standards of manufacturing, producing quality, compliant products
• Assembly and wiring of system hardware and terminating specialist connectors using crimp and solder terminations.
• Looming and interconnecting hardware components.
• Working from technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to correctly assemble products in accordance with relevant standards and
• Working as part of a small team.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Recognised, appropriate technical qualifications, e.g. NVQ level 3, SVQ/NVQ level 3, Level 3 vocational award, A-Level, BTEC National Certificate or Diploma.
• Excellent hands on skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and follow wiring schematics and technical documentation.
• Knowledge and experience of IT networks, firmware, fault finding and testing.
• Proven soldering, cable preparation and terminating skills.
• Ability to communicate well with other team members.
• A willingness to work as part of a wider team and develop your own potential.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
