Subcontract AV Technician - Scotland

We are seeking experienced freelance / subcontract AV Technicians based in Scotland to support a range of corporate and events environments. This is an ad-hoc, onsite subcontracting role offering flexible work across multiple client sites.

Role Overview

You will provide onsite audiovisual support across corporate offices and event spaces, delivering high-quality meeting room, event, and break-fix support to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Onsite support for meeting rooms and VC systems (Teams, Zoom, Webex)
• Corporate AV support, including boardrooms and collaboration spaces
• Event support (set-up, operation, derig) for internal and client-facing events
• Break-fix troubleshooting of AV equipment and systems
• Liaising with end users, facilities teams, and IT staff
• Ensuring AV systems are left fully operational after support visits
• Representing our brand professionally onsite

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an AV Technician in corporate and/or events environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with displays, projectors, audio systems, microphones, and VC hardware
• Confident working independently and communicating with end users
• Ability to adapt to different client standards and environments
• Punctual, reliable, and professional at all times

Desirable

• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, PoE, VLAN awareness)
