Audio Visual Field Service Engineer

This is a hands-on role supporting prestigious client sites across the UK and Europe, combining technical expertise with proactive fault resolution and client engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support across client sites
• Deliver field service engineering and preventative maintenance as required
• Conduct site surveys and small works installations, including client handovers
• Travel to domestic and European client locations (as needed)
• Work rotational shifts to meet SLA and KPI requirements
• Manage fault tickets and ensure timely updates and resolution
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and uphold commercial standards
• Complete all necessary administrative tasks to support engineering operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in AV field service or technical support roles
• Strong knowledge of AV/VC/UC technologies (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron, DSPs, video conferencing)
• Calm under pressure with excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills
• Confident communicator via phone and email
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised
• Flexible, proactive, and customer-focused approach
• Able to manage client communications and escalate issues effectively
