Graduate Trainee ERP Systems Consultant
About Us
Protronics Ltd is a well-established consultancy specialising in Sage accounts software. For over 25 years, we’ve helped businesses across many sectors work more efficiently and effectively by optimising their accounts systems, with a particular emphasis on Sage 200.
We are an intentionally small company, where every person matters. You’d be joining just two people in our London office, as part of a wider team of seven, so this is not like joining a large corporate graduate scheme: For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to build broad, valuable systems and consultancy skills in a supportive environment, learning directly from experienced consultants.
‘Consultancy’ is a broad term – so what do we do?
- Talk to clients to understand how their business works and how data flows through it
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and repetitive tasks
- Advise on how processes could be improved and how software can be best used
- Install and configure accounting software (mainly Sage 200) and related systems
- Migrate data, create reports, design layouts, procedure notes, and provide training and ongoing support
- Integrate software with other systems or provide customisations
In short, we work with people, processes, and technology to help businesses run smoothly, using a mix of accounting, IT, and analytical skills.
Notably, what we don’t do:
- Advise on business strategy/development per se (though of course good systems consultancy involves understanding broader company goals)
- Interpret or analyse financial performance for clients
- Offer general IT/network/hardware support
- Provide actual accounting services
