Operations Administrator
Location: Milton Keynes
Reports to: Operations Manager
Role PurposeAs an Operations Administrator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our digital change consultancy. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Operations, Finance, and Resourcing to ensure our internal processes run efficiently and our teams are supported to deliver excellent work for our clients.
This role is suited to someone looking to build a career in business operations — whether you’re entering the workforce for the first time, returning after a break, or looking to apply your existing skills in a new environment. You’ll gain broad experience across HR, finance, compliance, and supplier management within a dynamic, technology-driven consultancy.
Key Responsibilities Operations Support- Support the coordination of daily operational and administrative activities across the business.
- Act as a first point of contact for general operational queries.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, associates, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal systems such as SharePoint.
- Support the management of third-party service providers (e.g., HR, Payroll, IT, Legal).
- Help track service performance and escalate issues where required.
- Assist with renewals of contracts, subscriptions, and supplier documentation.
- Help maintain company policies, templates, and compliance records.
- Support GDPR, data protection, and other compliance-related activities.
- Contribute to ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials certification processes and audit preparation.
- Work with the Resourcing Manager to coordinate onboarding, timesheets, and contractor logistics.
- Support internal communications, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain staff and associate records in line with data protection standards.
- Assist the Finance team with purchase orders, invoice tracking, and expense processing.
- Support procurement of software tools, licences, and supplies in line with company policy.
- Suggest ideas for improving internal processes and systems.
- Support updates to the company’s Improvement Log to help track and deliver enhancements.
Essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence using digital tools.
- A proactive and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role (including voluntary, placement, or part-time experience).
- Awareness of consulting or professional services environments.
- Familiarity with systems such as Xero, HR platforms, or project collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
- Interest in business operations, compliance, or digital transformation.
