Join a Fast-Moving Global Platform Driving Product Quality at Scale

Are you a QA Engineer ready to step beyond test execution and truly influence how quality is built into products from the ground up? This is your opportunity to join a well-funded, global technology business that’s undergoing an exciting transformation — modernising its stack, scaling international teams, and putting quality at the heart of product development.

With strong financial backing and a rapidly growing user base, this business is building the future of its platform. They're now looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer (or a strong Mid-Level ready to step up) to embed within a cross-functional Agile team and help evolve how QA is done across web and mobile products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Be Embedded, Not Isolated: Actively contribute to product development from day one — collaborating with developers and product managers, not testing in a silo.
  • Champion Shift-Left Testing: Ensure quality is considered early in the development lifecycle by helping define, question, and shape user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Own Test Strategy: Create and execute end-to-end test plans — covering functional, exploratory, API, UI, and cross-platform testing.
  • Deliver Through Automation: Build and maintain test automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable releases.
  • Support Distributed Teams: Help level-up the QA capability of international teams, including a growing team in China.
  • Explore How AI Can Help QA: Bring ideas on how AI tools and approaches can streamline QA processes or improve coverage.
  • Contribute to Process: Attend Agile ceremonies, analyse requirements for testability and risk, and continuously seek ways to optimise how testing is done.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hands-On QA Experience - Strong background in manual and automated testing within Agile environments.
  • True Collaboration - Someone who works within dev teams, not someone who "waits for handover."
  • Automation Skills - Proficient with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium. Comfortable writing automated tests in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • CI/CD Mindset - You’ve worked with modern pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) and value speed, feedback loops, and clean releases.
  • API Testing Proficiency - Experience testing REST or GraphQL APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Performance & SQL Knowledge - Exposure to tools like JMeter or LoadRunner, and confident writing SQL queries for backend data checks.
  • Curious & Forward-Thinking - Excited about how new tools — including AI — can improve the way QA is done.
  • Strong Communicator - Able to work with global teams, influence product conversations, and represent quality in planning sessions.

Why Apply?

You’ll be joining a modern, forward-thinking product business where QA is a strategic function, not an afterthought. If you’re someone who enjoys shaping processes, improving team capabilities, and staying current with testing trends, this role is a great fit. There’s room to grow, flexibility to own your space, and real impact to be made.

We’re open to strong mid-level QA Engineers ready to take the next step, or experienced seniors who want to own their space in a fast-moving product team.

Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway, we’d still love to chat.
