My client, a global technology-driven service company operating primarily in the financial sector is looking to hire a Senior Backend Developer to help architect, build and optimise the backend systems for their global platform. You will lead the design, development and deployment of backed services and API’s, architecting scalable systems which integrate multiple data sources.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will mentor junior developers, reviewing their code for quality and performance and collaborate with cross functional teams. You will also participate in technical design discussion and product planning.

The ideal candidate will possess several years’ experience in Backend development with a focus on Java and Spring Boot. You will also possess strong knowledge designing RESTful API’s and database schemas. You must also possess knowledge of security standards, strong problem-solving skills and offer experience with Cloud platforms, AWS.

This role needs a Senior Backend Developer who is comfortable working as an individual contributor, happy to mentor junior developers and collaborate with various teams across the software engineering function.
